Meet our professionals and staff:


Jeffrey N. Pelesh, CPA





Jeffrey Pelesh is the current Owner and Principal of Gelman & Pelesh, P.C.  and an expert in partnership accounting and taxation.  Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration from Villanova University, where he was a student of Harry L. Gelman.

Prior to joining our practice in 1991, Jeff was a member of the Business Investigations Group of Coopers & Lybrand, where he provided forensic accounting services to corporate clients, legal counsel, and court-appointed trustees, and also developed and implemented plans for the rehabilitation or liquidation of bankrupt or insolvent businesses.

Throughout his career, Jeff has readily shared his expertise with others.  Jeff taught classes on such subjects as taxation, auditing, financial accounting, cost accounting, and entrepreneurship at Villanova University for many years.  He has also taught continuing professional education (CPE) classes for accounting and tax professionals, and led training sessions for partners and staff at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jeff is an avid trumpet player.  Together with his wife, Connie, and their 10-piece band, the UpFront Band, Jeff performs classic jazz, swing, and show tunes from the 30s, 40s, and 50s at theaters and private events around the Philadelphia area.  Jeff also enjoys playing golf and following Villanova’s basketball team.  Jeff and Connie have three adult children.


Timothy E. Ungrady, CPA



Timothy Ungrady has been an Accountant at our practice since 1997, having come to accounting as a second career after working as a geologist in the fields of oil exploration and environmental consulting.  In addition to his Certified Public Accountant designation, Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Geology and Micropaleontology from Rutgers University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Tim is an avid golfer and enjoys following Maryland Terrapin football and basketball.


Mary Donahue



An experienced bookkeeper and administrator with a B.S. degree, Mary Donahue joined our firm after 21 years of active service in the U.S. Marine Corps, where she rose from the enlisted ranks to the rank of Captain, and where one of her favorite postings was the Pacific island of Okinawa.  Mary is active in the community life of her parish, and is a regular member of the choir of her church.


Harry L. Gelman, CPA (in memoriam)



Harry Gelman was among the founders of our practice in 1961, and was also a long-time faculty member of the School of Business at Villanova University, where he taught accounting.  Harry passed away in 2011.
